This month Danny Way turns 20 years old - in skate years, that is. The fine folks over at DC Shoes are honoring the iconic skater with a celebration of Way's professional career through classic videos and photos.
The guy is pretty much the Godfather of modern-day skating in part to his help in developing the MegaRamp. Not to mention being the first person to jump the Great Wall of China.
The recognition is well deserved, Danny.
This beast-like machine is the TRAX STI, the newest creation from DC and Ken Block. Basically, it is Block's standard Subaru WRX STI, except the tires have been replaced with snow cat tracks and an upgraded suspension better suited for the winter terrain.
Apparently there will be a matching sleigh to be pulled behind the car which is made to hold up to four snowboarders and their gear. Backcountry boarding just got taken to a whole new level.
